Changes were easily made to the site plan in the modelling process especially in the DAF treatment building around the chemical dosing and storage system.

The civils, storage tanks and plant were then added around the site along with the superstructures and treatment buildings before finally adding the pipework and service routes and the necessary steelwork supports. The works were upgraded to cope with extra demand on the site and increase the quality of the final effluent to river.

By integrating our Revit produced models into a Navisworks and BIM 360 environment we made modifications to the pipe gantries and steelwork installations required on this site.
Access platforms and centrifuge super structures were modelled in place, along with the civil works, plant and pipework for the two new Biogas domes on site. The new installation fed the existing site’s waste to energy combined heat and power plant and a new gas to grid project.
